Quote: TapWater (tap water) is an everyday occurrence. It's so familiar that you don't definitely think about it. In terms of clothing, I think it's appreciate a wardrobe that you wear every day. In Japan, there's a saying, "tansu no koyashi" (literally, "fertilizer for the chest of drawers"). It might not be a exceptionally positive expression, but it can also be seen as something you can't throw away, "something" that you keep. TapWater is a brand where Creative Director Takayuki Minami and NISHINOYA Director Daishi Nishino think about that "something," and they pull out their "tansu no koyashi" and re-edit them with current materials and approaches. TapWater x Wrangler A collaboration model with Wrangler, a long-established jeans maker that was born in North Carolina, USA, and has transformed jeans as workwear into a symbol of self-expression, and continues to increase its presence in various cultures even as it celebrates its 75th anniversary. The 80s to 90s 46-inch denim cargo shorts were the inspiration for the production. While adjusting the oversized waist on the pattern to assorted extent, just prefer the vintage originals, the design has been updated with a drawcord to tighten the waist. This pair is full of design features, such as cargo pockets with hidden pockets and rare stitching.
